Peripherals

I started work on the peripherals to accompany the mod. This was my first adventure in to the land of texturing and drybrushing! I took an old IBM keyboard and sanded off that ugly logo! I used some of the chemical metal to make a texture.

I coated the texture in matt black before drybrushing red and grey on top of it.

I had to do something about those boring looking keys! I used the dremel with a large etching bit to etch and texture before carefully painting. The camera has a hard time capturing the '1000 year old dried up human flesh' texture, but I'm very happy with the result.

The monitor was next - I used a hefty amount of material to cover this.

I then took another victim - this time a cheap Trust optical mouse. I took the head of Action Man (!) and grafted him on to create a truly spooky mouse.

I did the same effect on the base to finish off this round of modding!
